Licensed Diesel/Truck Mechanic

In business for 40 years, K-Line Construction Ltd. is a diversified company, working in a variety of industries, including telecom, power restoration and civil construction.  K-Line has it’s own full service shop located in Woodstock, NB where it maintains a wide range of vehicles & equipment. The company is looking to hire multiple service technicians to work in this high paced environment.

Qualifications and job tasks

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a broad range of machinery & equipment
• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
• Fabrication skills considered an asset
• Working hydraulic knowledge considered an asset
• Prepare necessary paperwork as required
• Follow all regulatory and company policies while performing job functions

Requirements

• Diesel/Truck and Trailer Mechanic License
• Must have a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Must be able to work independently and/or in a team environment
• Knowledge and skills necessary to perform all phases of maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
• Must have own tools
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

Compensation

• Hourly wage dependent upon experience/qualifications
