Civil Construction Foreman

K-Line Construction Ltd. requires a Civil Construction Foreman for our group of companies, based out of our Fredericton, NB office. Our Civil Construction division completes a wide variety of projects consisting of, but not limited to, underground utilities, site development, telecommunications, power, signing/lighting and road building.

K-Line is seeking an individual that has a strong willingness to learn and adapt to the changing environment of a construction site.  This individual must be motivated and possess great leadership skills.  They must be detail oriented, with a desire to produce quality work.  This position is career oriented.

Responsibilities of this position would include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the daily activities of the crew and construction site.
• Communicating with and organizing sub-contractors.
• Ensuring the safety and well being of all crew members and that all safety policies are followed.
• Ensuring each project is finished on-time and on-budget.
• Completing daily reports, time and materials submittals, toolbox meetings, etc.
• Ensuring that all company policies are adhered to.

Requirements for this position are:

• A minimum of 5 years of construction supervisory experience is an asset, but not a requirement.
• A valid class 5 driver’s license.
• Knowledge in heavy equipment is an asset, but not a requirement.
• Individual must be motivated, a self starter and possess great leadership skills.
• Safety training is an asset but will be provided as needed.
• Plan reading and the understanding of construction specifications is required.
• Periodic travel throughout Atlantic Canada is required.  Meals and accommodations will be paid for.
